For my private classes, we’ll have a chat about what you’d like to do and if you have any fitness goals I can help you with. We’ll work closely and carefully with any existing health conditions, and move at your desired pace. All private classes are 60–75 minutes.
Classes are conducted at my home studio in Serangoon Gardens. All classes start with a brief meditation, and includes a light shoulder and foot massage at the end of class.
Here are some examples of the types of classes we could do.
If you’re new to yoga, this class will help you learn the basics of classical Hatha yoga postures in a safe and supportive environment. You’ll learn the language of asana practice, physical alignment, as well as the fundamentals of meditation and breathwork.
Here is where we’ll move through a slower-paced Vinyasa class together, paying close attention to movement and breath as we explore various yoga postures. Slowing down builds proprioception or body awareness, and encourages mindful movement.
Asana & Anatomy
This is for the more seasoned practitioner who wants a deeper understanding about how our body moves in different yoga postures. We’ll delve more into physical alignment, and how to prevent common injuries in complex and challenging poses.
Against a backdrop of gently glowing candles, I’ll guide you through a series of postures to help you relax and release tension and tightness in your body. Yin is a meditative practice that targets connective tissue to promote joint health and well-being.
Also known as yogic or dynamic sleep, this is a deeply meditative and restful practice that begins and ends with your body at complete stillness. My calming voice will serve as your anchor as you drift into a sleep-like state and awake refreshed.
